We’re looking forward to hosting Touchline Memories, a new exhibition by artists Kayode Oluwu and Abolore Sobayo (Onewildcard). The project reimagines iconic moments from football history as multisensory narrative artefacts, transforming sporting memory into something that can be felt as well as seen.
Blending tactile printmaking with accessibility-led thinking, the works translate key football moments into embossed, touch-led artworks. Through texture, spatial storytelling, and compressed narrative composition, the pieces express emotion, movement, and memory, designed to be experienced through touch and embodied recall as much as visual interpretation.
Touchline Memories explores how cultural storytelling can be expanded for blind and visually impaired audiences, while also offering new, emotionally resonant ways for all fans to connect with sport beyond the visual spectacle.
The exhibition is free to view Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm here at The Media Centre until Thursday 23rd April 2026
(Please note that the exhibition will be closed on Friday 3rd and Monday 6th April 2026 due to the Easter Bank Holidays)
