Exhibit Your Art Work for FREE

Since opening in 1995, The Media Centre has supported creativity in Huddersfield by providing space for artists, audiences and communities to connect through culture and contemporary practice.

Our public exhibition programme brings a wide range of work into the town centre, creating opportunities for people to encounter new ideas, perspectives and conversations through art.

We offer a small, free exhibition space to artists based in Kirklees and across West Yorkshire, supporting both emerging and established practitioners working in all mediums and disciplines.

We are particularly interested in work that engages with people, place and lived experience, and reflects the diversity of voices and creative practices across the region.

As part of Huddersfield’s cultural landscape, we are committed to making exhibitions accessible, welcoming and relevant to the communities around us.

Through a rolling programme of exhibitions, we aim to support artists to share ambitious and thought-provoking work in a public setting.

Exhibiting is free, with six-week slots available and opportunities to host open days.

If you are interested in exhibiting with us, please read our Guide to Exhibiting by clicking the GUIDE TO EXHIBITING button below and if you would like to apply for a slot please click APPLY TO EXHIBIT below and a member of our team will be in touch.
