Discover the World of Alex Blakely: A Captivating Exhibition at The Media Centre

We invite you to experience a compelling exhibition by local artist Alex Blakely, whose work explores the intricate relationship between humanity and the built environment.

Through immersive, thought-provoking pieces, Blakely blends reality with imagination—merging architectural forms, fantastical landscapes, and glimpses of life within—to challenge perceptions and inspire new ways of seeing the world around us.

Drawing on a lifelong passion for art, Alex—based in Meltham—creates unique mixed media and glass works that weave together elements of history, architecture, and nature. Her fascination with the forgotten and derelict breathes life into each piece, sparking curiosity and reflection.

This free exhibition is open to all and can be viewed Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm (excluding bank holidays) until 19th June 2025, here at The Media Centre.
