We have created workspace, meeting and event space, a maker space, a café bar, a diverse event programme and a vibrant community of 200 businesses. We are now looking to build on these foundations to bring new value to The Media Centre, our business residents and Huddersfield.

  • Financial Direction (Financial management scrutiny, strategic planning, commercial awareness, change and risk management)

  • Marketing and Public Relations (profile raising, audience/client development and lead generation, PR and advertising, events, sponsorship and membership programmes, data protection)

  • Catering and hospitality (café, restaurant, hotel and retail, customer service.)

  • Estate Management (Facilities management, capital projects, property purchase, legal compliance, health and safety, workspace trends)

  • Tech sectors and future growth areas

  • Knowledge of Huddersfield’s creative communities/businesses and some understanding of the purpose and work of The Media Centre

Applicants will work with the Chair, Chief Executive and Senior Management Team to provide clear strategic direction to the organisation, setting overall policy, defining goals, setting targets and evaluating performance, they will demonstrate excellent communication skills and they will also have a good understanding of local, regional and cultural agendas.
